My Instrument

I am very proud to be an Edwards Artist, and have been so since 1999.

I play an Edwards B454, with a B-STD slide and a Rose SR Tuning Slide.

I have two bells. A gold brass brass 10 inch 1574CF for heavy symphonic playing

and a rose brass 9.5 inch 1117CF for classical works, big band and some solo playing.

I use a number 3 leadpipe for most symphonic works,

but for some classical or chamber works and solo pieces I use a number 1 leadpipe.

It may surprise you to learn that I play on a Kelly 1.5G transparent plastic mouthpiece, which is by far the most comfortable mouthpiece that I have ever played on.
